Welcome to our Conference

This year's conference sponsored by Merck Serono will be held at the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow from the 5-7 October. The Insights conference is organised by Merck Serono in collaboration with leading fertility nurses. In keeping with the ethos of Insights, this year's annual conference has yet again been carefully developed to ensure that all fertility nurses will find the programme valuable to current working practice and assist them with future personal and clinical development.

The steering committee (fertility nurse specialists: Alice Denga, Alison McTavish, Fiona Pringle, Helen Kendrew, Isabel Traynor, Karen Woodcock and Paula Smith) have planned this conference using feedback from previous Insights events as well as incorporating ideas based on topical issues, reflecting current nursing needs. The focus of the meeting is as always the nurse educational content, and is seen by Merck Serono as a vehicle to support our therapy area, focusing on the world of infertility.

It is hoped the programme will address some of the key issues and development needs facing fertility nurses today. The aim is to provide a stimulating programme along with a forum for useful debate as well as time for networking with colleagues from around the country.
